This course offered by Prof. L D Behera has transformed my life completely. I understood from this course that Bhagavad Gita is always fully relevant and applicable to our life—at all time, place and circumstances. Although, since last five years I am living outside India, I am able to practice Bhagavad Gita as I learnt from this course. My feedback to the future participants is to attend this course. Unlike other activities where there are always duality of loss or gain, in this Bhagavad Gita study there is no loss, rather there is only gain.
I heard of Bhagavad from my childhood. I tried reading once sloka by sloka meaning by meaning still failed to understand anything. While doing this Gita Course by Prof. Lilapurushottam Das I was amazed by the clarity of explaination and how to implement its teachings practicaly in life. Thanks to Prof. Lilapurushottam Das or else the knowlegde of Bhagavad Gita would have remained a mystery forever and I won't able to understand the utility of this precious human form of life .
I attended the Bhagavad Gita Course by Dr. Lila Purushottam Das at IIT Kanpur during my B.Tech. Though I had already read Bhagavad Gita at that time, but the course gave me an altogether different perspective of the ancient wisdom of Gita- "As It Is"- as Krishna explained to Arjuna 5000 years ago. All the sessions were so mesmerizing, especially "Krishna – Concept of Infinite", was my favorite. After attending that session, I was forced to think about my position in this infinite manifestation of Lord. The knowledge present in the course was so practical and helpful that I attended the lecture series again the next year. I seriously recommend this course for those who want to understand the transcendental knowledge of Bhagavad Gita in a scientific way.
